Adds the big disc-era libraries — PS2, GameCube, Wii, PSP, Dreamcast — that the 8GB card physically can't hold, plus hundreds of gigabytes of free space for your own games.

Straight answer on the 8GB card: 8GB is small, so those 3,000 games are the cartridge-era consoles, where a whole library fits in a few gigabytes.
